As you start up Round Bald from Carver’s Gap, you encounter a dense conifer forest with an different-worldly high quality to it. It is like a scene out of The Hobbit – there’s one thing mystical about this short part of the Appalachian Trail. I’ve heard some people say they assume it is spooky, as if a thousand eyes had been secretly watching. I actually discover it to be a very peaceable, serene place. Even when the winds are whipping on the balds above, the woods are usually calm and quiet. Usually there is a mist that settles in, casting a soft glow over the landscape. Soon you emerge on the highest of Spherical Bald – stunning views in all instructions.
I stopped for a couple of days in Barrens..since i am a degree 20 Orc i should not be going faaar away..however i went to camp Taurajo and did a few quests there..under are few footage from best occasions, some locations are really wonderfull..Hey i am already degree 21 now! The primary mile and half of the trail are quite spectacular, passing via a jumble of tilted rocks which can be acquainted to those who have been to Jay Cooke State Park and even the Carlton space.
