Hornblower CruiseAs part of Hornblower’s continuing commitment to positively influence the surroundings and in celebration of Earth Month, Hornblower is offering an Earth Day Luncheon Cruise on Saturday, April 25, 2009!

No. I never have a pre-conceived plot when I begin to write. If a particular setting or an individual or motion grabs me, that is where I start and I let it flow from there. Typically the idea I come up with is likely to be halfway through the story (as with Sea Dust onboard ship). I then have to string a beginning to it. Typically essentially the most amazing things crop up as the story progresses which surprises even me.

Morning Cruise: Beautiful sunny morning, though a little bit windy. We found a single south-sure Gray Whale immediately, but opted for deeper water. Around the 9 mile bank, we discovered a Humpback Whale which breached numerous times! A number of breaches have been quite near the boat, plus numerous pec slapping. Nice day to be out on the water!
