This previous week noticed a whole lot of progress on the format with the completion of three railroad bridges across Huge Thunder Creek. Up on the Calico Excessive Line, a small stone arch crosses the creek where it is slender on the source, while farther down, a rustic 20′ king publish truss does the job on the mill spur. Near the entrance of the layout, a 48′ wooden trestle on the principle line spans the wide, clear swimming pools below.
Bluff Creek itself stays closed, with heavy penalties for those who go up there (so don’t). The roads away from the fire and the creek basin, The G- Street to 12N12, Slate Creek, and Cedar Camp are still open, as is the Fish Lake/Onion Mountain (Bluff Creek) Street up virtually to Onion Lake (which latter is within the closure zone).
