Michigan is great and we’ve lived here all our lives except a 3 yr time away for education. I have also had the privilege of living on Mackinac Island for nearly 12 years 12 months round. Please come up right here because the island is a good place to go to and stay! However, you might even see some autos though. We do have a firetruck, an ambulance and some other upkeep vans (don’t wish to get picky with the writer, however wanted to make clear). The street sweeper is horse drawn. These do take away anything from the environment and will not be a difficulty. These of us that dwell here are glad for these emergency vehicles.
