Why so many destructive critiques? I discovered it awesome. I expected it to be a silly movie about the leads getting drunk and going loopy, but it’s greater than that. The best way the film is filmed, the way the characters assume, makes you think about immediately’s society and what are we doing with it. The film is such a thoughts blowing experience you could’t stop watching it no matter what. James Franco was one of the best actor of this movie, his expertise is plain and it isn’t absent on this film. I also liked Ashley Benson’s efficiency.
So what is spring break in the present day? In this movie it is not the literal MTV-sponsored parties that take over and infect numerous beach places across the American continent, though that model of spring break is definitely evoked for its imagery. In this film spring break is escape; spring break means we are all stars in our self-recorded iPhone films; spring break means all inhibitions are off the desk, replaced by copious drugs and young flesh.
Spring break is attending to be like promenade night or Thanksgiving: an alien American establishment we’ve consumed so much in pop culture that it’s nearly as if we Brits have skilled it in our rainy Brit lives. Anyway, we’re expected to be in on the cultural reference – on this case, lithe, young faculty children partying super arduous in sunny Florida during the March vacation.
Spring Breakers mengisahkan tentang empat sahabat; Faith (Selena Gomez),Sweet (Vanessa Hudgens), Brittany (Ashley Benson), dan Cotty (Rachel Korine), yang hendak menghabiskan liburan musim semi mereka dengan berpesta di luar kota. Mereka pun mengumpulkan uang dengan merampok sebuah restoran kecil. Hingga sesampainya di tempat tujuan mereka berpesta gila-gilaan bersama alkohol dan narkoba. Sialnya, mereka justru tertangkap oleh polisi yang sedang melakukan razia. Mereka pun dijebloskan ke penjara, dan beruntungnya seorang rapper sekaligus gangster bernama Alien (James Franco) mau membantu mereka keluar. Liburan mereka pun berlanjut bersama Alien.
