This beer is brewed by the smokehouse King Avenue Blues. They have a couple of establishments round DC and that i frequent the Crystal City location. I was surprised they supplied their own beer and had one with my lunch. The pour was a nice copper red with respectable however diminishing head. Aroma was there but it was nothing particular. The carbonation was form of flat and the style was that of a smokey amber beer. They offer some seasonal as well so examine again for extra ratings of those.
